Installing Floor Heating Systems in Anchorage, Alaska

Heated Floors Provide Efficient, Luxurious Warmth

Having provided Anchorage and all of North America with a variety of radiant floor heating systems for almost two decades, we’ve learned a lot over the years. Perhaps the most important lesson we could pass on to customers is that the most crucial aspect of a radiant floor heating system is that it is installed correctly. Sure, we carry a large selection of the industry’s most trusted and proven floor heating systems, but unless the heating element and components are installed correctly, you won’t get the performance that you deserve. That’s why we emphasize our customer support services.

Example of a floor heating system layout.

Proper installation begins with the proper design and layout of the system. Warmzone’s experienced professionals will provide a detailed design and layout of your system - based on your heating needs and your budget. The layout includes all the electrical information, so you and your electrician will know every detail about the system prior to any installation. The AutoCAD design drawings include the proper layout and materials of the system, proper load calculations, breaker sizes, and the number of breakers. This valuable AutoCAD design service minimizes issues that installers may otherwise encounter, and ultimately saves you time and money in the long run.

Warmzone® provides FREE installation training. The courses are available online via video conference with an instructor, and covers the specifics of your particular installation. Attendees can stop and ask the instructor questions at any time and complete the course at their own pace. The training is typically completed in less than an hour.

Warmzone offers a vast selection of the industry's most trusted floor heating systems. The wide selection assures that homeowners can be matched with the system that best meets their heating needs, as well as their budget. ComfortTile® heating cable and mats are ideal for heating ceramic tile, stone, or marble floors. The cable is secured to the floor and self-leveling compound and/or thinset is then applied. Warmzone's FilmHeat™ system features thin (0.016-inch) heating panels for installation under all types of floating floors. This system doesn't require any self-leveling or mortar. Thin, low-voltage heating panels are also available, as well as several other options for heating a variety of floor types.

Warmzone also carries the Prodeso® uncoupling and waterproofing membrane. This underlayment is placed over the subfloor, and then thin floor heating cable is placed in the pre-engineered channels of the membrane. The flooring can then be installed over the heat cable. The Prodeso system provides waterproofing for the substrate, and can be used for most types of flooring.
